OCTOBER GIVEAWAY 15 and 16/31

Today marks the official cover reveal for AFTER THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER as well as the launch of the kickstarter campaign to pay our contributors more for their work and help our small press cover some of the publication and marketing costs.  Mad props to my partner, ALISHA COSTANZO, for putting in the extra hours on top of her busy and dedicated life to see this campaign find its legs and run.

Looking at these three together makes me stupid happy.  The intense work that goes into these titles is rewarding, and it honors me to share them.

The kickstarter campaign is up and running--Alisha hit GO around midnight last night, while the Bourbon Street crowd was rocking me and Jory Marcinczyk behind the bar.  I wasn't aware it was up till my usual morning conference with Alisha.

I've already commented on my love for Neil Gaiman.  Critters is an all around fun monster movie that launched the franchise that gave Leonardo DiCaprio his start.  Actually, it's interesting how many great actors began in horror movies, a genre often criticized and dismissed.  The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is the quintessential American ghost story, and a must read if you've missed it. Distorted was the 1st anthology Alisha and I produced together after we met in a facebook author exchange.  She contributed to my 2nd volume of BETWEEN THERE, and we've been working together ever since.  What a blessing!
